Nahigian Teaches at New England Event

Greater Hartford Association of REALTORS® education event.

Newman Named Executive Director
Susan;S.;Newman,;a;former;employee;of;SIOR, was recently
named the executive director of CORFAC International. Newman
was the secretary general (chief executive officer) of the U.S.
Chapter of The International Real Estate Federation (
FIABCI-USA) prior to accepting the leadership role at CORFAC. Susan
was the senior director of Programs and education director for
SIOR. Susan joins the following SIORs on the Board of Directors.

Prior Receives Seeley Award
David Prior, SIOR, The Klabin
Company, Torrance, CA, has been
named the 2011 recipient of the
coveted Roy. C. Seeley Perpetual
Award presented by the Los
Angeles Chapter of SIOR. Prior
received the Roy C. Seeley Award
“for maintaining the highest professional standards and generous
contribution of service and leadership to the industry and the community.” The Seeley Award is given in
memory of Roy. C. Seeley, founder
of the former Seeley Company and
one of the founders of SIOR in the
early part of World War II. The
award was initiated in 1971.
West Wins Centennial Medal Award
William N. West, SIOR, Ostendorf Morris
Company, Cleveland, OH, was recently awarded
the Case Western Reserve Law School Centennial
Medal Award. The Centennial Medal Award is
the highest award bestowed upon a graduate of
the school.

will serve as the Grand Rapids, MI, Commercial
